What this means: Developing the senses- sight, smell, touch, taste, sound, and movement.

Why it’s important: Learners will gain a richer understanding of, and connection to, their life experiences.

How we live this: Spending time outdoors, discovering the natural world.

What this means: Early exposure to numbers and arithmetic.

Why it’s important: Provides Learners a foundation for abstract thinking.

Language

What this means: Learning how to communicate.

Why it’s important: Communication is vital for intra- and inter- personal relationship building.

How we live this: English is used to guide students throughout the day intermingled with French and American Sign Language.

What this means: Creating global awareness with varying subjects from geography, social studies, ethical awareness, to the natural world.

Why it’s important: A well-rounded Learner understands the value of diverse perspectives and experiences. With understanding comes collaboration and respect.

How we live this: each month we have a different theme that introduces the seasons and different parts of the world.
